Until the morning of December 6, everything was fine, but then the author, who was hoping to get a MacBook Pro in his hands on that day, received an SMS message with the text “Unfortunately, your order from AliExpress cannot be delivered today.” The message did not arrive early in the morning, but only in the middle of the working day - at 14:18. It also said that the order would be delivered the next day. Since delivery is carried out from 9:00 to 18:00, it actually turns out that the author just spent the whole first half of the day at home in vain.

Obviously, since there were some problems on December 6, the order is guaranteed to be delivered on December 7. However, on that day (at 2:13 pm), a similar message also arrived with the text “Unfortunately, your order from AliExpress cannot be delivered today.” As a result, the delivery was again postponed to the next day and another working day was lost. Here the author's nerves could not stand it anymore and he wrote to the DPD technical support service on the social network Facebook. The claim sent through the company's website has not yet been answered (almost three days have passed).

From the moment of payment to the moment of potential receipt of the goods, a whole week will pass. The DPD courier service doesn't care about the Weekend Delivery service. The author lost a full day of Friday (December 8) and is now guaranteed to spend at least one more full day waiting. This is a real swindle on the part of the courier and the whole company as a whole.

So it turns out that DPD is the worst courier service in Russia, which brazenly fools the citizens of the country. First, they receive messages that, due to unclear circumstances, the parcel cannot be delivered for two days in a row, and on the third day the parcel is not delivered at all, but at the same time they promise to do it until late in the evening. All this time - from the courier is not a rumor or a spirit. Support blames everything on high workload. Even if this is the case, this is clearly not a customer problem.

If a person is very busy and does not pay loans on time, then what will happen next? - He will be charged additional interest. On the morning of Sunday (December 10), around 12:50, a polite courier called and asked when he could bring the parcel to the author of the post. As a result, we agreed that he would bring the parcel in 1.5 - 2 hours after the call.

There were doubts that something would “go wrong” again, but already at about 2:30 pm he called again and said that he had arrived at the place of delivery and would now ring the intercom. The parcel was received without any problems - the courier had to show his passport, then write his name, date of receipt, time of receipt on a special piece of paper and put his signature.

The entire package from Tmall is sealed with proprietary protective tape, and the packaging is quite tight and reliable, so there was not a single scratch on the Apple box in which the MacBook was located. As a result, if it were not for the delivery problems, then the DPD courier service would definitely have proven itself well, but alas, this was not destined to happen.

It is clear that during the period of some promotions and New Year sales, delivery times for all courier services increase. The main complaint against DPD is that it gave hope three times that the parcel would be delivered on the same day, and on Friday (December 8) it had to wait until late at night, without leaving the place of delivery anywhere. It was enough just one call from an employee who would promise that the parcel would be delivered exactly on a specific day and at a specific time.
