B. The guarantee applies to the surcharge paid by the customer for premium services, which is calculated as the difference between the premium rate and the standard end-of-business rate. The customer must notify DHL of any claim for delayed delivery, either in writing or by telephone, within 14 calendar days of the date the shipment was shipped, and provide DHL with the customer number (if applicable), waybill number, date of shipment, and complete recipient information. F. The warranty will not apply when the delay in delivery or non-delivery is due to circumstances beyond the control of DHL. 6.1. DHL's liability in respect of any Shipment carried by air (including ancillary carriage by road or stops en route) is limited in accordance with the Montreal or Warsaw Conventions, or, if such conventions do not apply, the lesser of the following amounts: (i) current market or declared value or (ii) 19 special drawing rights per kilogram (approximately US$26.00 per kilogram).
