The most popular ski areas in the resort are Alpe Cermis, Bellamonte and Latemar. Between all tourist villages, from eight in the morning to six in the evening, a free bus runs daily, transporting those who wish to their destinations.
Alpe Cermis located at an altitude of about 2200 meters above sea level and is characterized by high quality snow cover, as well as significant elevation changes. For the "pros" there are two tracks at once, and for beginners and intermediate skiers, routes with a length of about 20 kilometers have been prepared. Not far from here lies the small cozy village of Tesero, with a picturesque lake, which turns into an excellent skating rink during the ski season. For skiers here, the Latemar area is an ideal skiing area, where, in addition to excellent beginner and intermediate slopes, there is a snow park for snowboarders and a couple of tens of kilometers of trails for cross-country skiers. The Bellamonte ski area is located in the Travignolo Valley, at an altitude of just over 1300 meters above sea level. Among the 16 excellently equipped slopes, three belong to the masters, and the rest are distributed between intermediate skiers and beginners. Most of the routes run through forests, which makes skiing in these places even more interesting and eventful.
At a fairly significant distance from Bellamonte, behind the Passo Lavaze pass, in the Ega valley, at an altitude of 1550 meters, lies another popular ski area belonging to the Val di Fiemme region, obereggen. It is popular with beginners and intermediate skiers. In addition, there are trails for cross-country skiers. For snowboarders, a snow park is equipped at the Ski-center Latemar. The town has several good hotels with a high level of comfort and affordability. The close location to the ski lifts is their advantage. Otherwise, it is not much different from other resort areas in the region.
In addition to the abundance of all kinds of winter sports, there are many other attractions in Val di Fiemme. Almost all resorts have at their disposal modern sports centers where you can swim in the pool, visit the gym, play basketball, tennis or football. Numerous restaurants always offer a variety of national dishes and desserts to gourmet visitors. In addition, the provincial towns of the region are of particular interest to lovers of history and sights. Val di Fiemme Hotels
In Cavalese tourists are ready to accept nine hotels, 3 * and 4 *. The hotels are cozy, modern and quiet. It offers tourists - an indoor pool, a lot of restaurants and shops.
Half an hour drive to the east is the town of Predazzo. There are a little more hotels here - as many as ten, one of them is 4 *. Just like in Cavalese, there is a swimming pool, restaurants, bars, shops.

The remaining villages of the valley are even smaller and are located more or less well in relation to the ski lifts. For some reason, the town of Oberregen also belongs to this skiing region - despite the fact that it is located behind the pass.

Three ski areas can be distinguished here: Alpe Cermis, Bellamonte, connected by a system of tracks with the Three Valleys, and the most interesting and diverse ski area, Latemar. The latter can be reached by a new cabin lift from the town of Predazzo.

Cavalese
The ski area, which is part of the Alpe Cermis zone and located at an altitude of 2267 m. The elevation difference is 1407 m. The local slopes are ideally exposed to maintain excellent snow quality even on the darkest (from the point of view of an active skier) days.
The total mileage of the "rollable" slopes of the resort is small - only 24 km, but this is more than compensated by the wonderful snow cover throughout the season. Cavalese has 7 blue runs (10 km), 5 red runs (9 km) and 2 black runs (5 km), served by three gondolas and three chair lifts, as well as one ski lift. The most famous black track is Olimpia II, 3 km long with a vertical drop of more than 600 meters.
Tesero
A quiet alpine town located in the heart of the Val di Fiemme at a kilometer altitude. From here it is easy to get to any vending ski area of the valley, since the routes of all the local ski buses successfully pass through Tesero.
The total length of the slopes of the resort is 40 km, most of them are red. The most interesting skiing area is the Ski Center Latemar, where there are many picturesque forest trails. Tesero is ideal for cross-country skiers: it has a world-class center that has hosted the World Championships twice (and is preparing to do so for the third time - in 2013). To the delight of snowboarders, the resort has a snow park and a half-pipe.

Carano
"Lower neighbor" Cavalese, located at an altitude of 906 m above sea level. There are about the same number of local residents, but the number of beds offered for snow seekers and adventurers overlaps this figure at times: Carano is notable for a large number of apartments and small hotels. The town itself is very quiet (good for tourists with children), and vacationers here can enjoy all the achievements of the infrastructure of nearby Cavalese.

Bellamonte
Ski resort in the Travignolo Valley (Valle di Travignolo) at an altitude of 1373 m. The height of the station at the top is almost 2 km, at the foot of the mountain - 1550 m. The height difference is 427 m.
Bellamonte has 16 equipped trails with a total length of 24 km. Most of the local slopes are of medium and advanced difficulty: 11 km of blue and 9 - red. The pros will have to settle for three black runs (4 km in total).
The local red and blue trails, laid through the forest, are very picturesque. In addition, they are very comfortable and long.
Oberragen
In Val di Fiemme, in addition to the Dolomiti Superski pass, the Fiemme-Oberragen card is also valid. In general, this calm valley with uncomplicated trails is very suitable for cross-country skiers and beginner skiers, who come here in large numbers: from 8 am to 6 pm ski buses scurry between the villages of the valley, lifts and cable cars work, providing everyone with the opportunity to have a good relax and take away a good mood from Val di Fiemme.
Trails of Val di Fiemme
In terms of skiing, the valley is the western region of the Dolomiti Superski alliance, providing athletes with about a hundred kilometers of slopes, modern lifts, and excellent infrastructure. There are few difficult tracks for the "pros" in the resort. You can select the track on the slope of Alpe Cermis between the top of the Eurohotel (Eurotel, 2000 m) and Doss dei Laresi (Doss dei Laresi, 1279 m).
The cabin lift near Predazzo will take skiers to the Latemar ski area. This region is more suitable for intermediate skiers, they will be especially interested in the eastern part of the slope in the Caserina area (Rifugio Caserina).
To the third ski area, Bellamonte - Alpa di Lusia (24 km of slopes), you have to take a bus, but the slopes there are excellent: comfortable, long “blue” and “red” slopes winding in the forest. From here also begins a narrow and steep "black" track, descending into the neighboring valley of Val di Fassa.
Good conditions here for beginner snowboarders: in the Alpe Lucia region there are all conditions for them. In addition, there are snow parks in the Ski-center Latemar ski area and in the town of Obereggen.
