Ufanet Internet does not work. Ufanet personal account

Good afternoon. Recently I switched to a 500 Mbps tariff. Day 1: I apply to the TP, the speed does not correspond to the declared one. An engineer arrives and says the reason for the oxide problem on the ports and connectors. I cleaned and re-squeezed, connected and started checking the speed. Doubts arose when he started knocking on the ufanet server to measure the speed. The output received 300-320 Mbps. To other Ufa servers 100-130. Okay, let's release the engineer.

Day 2: look at the locks. We go to the rutor, look for a more promoted distribution (for a sample, we take two more analogs on different similar resources and put them in turn) and put them on the download. 10 MB / s. We take the next one - 10 MB / s. The third is the same. 10 MB / s is the maximum.

We begin to look deeper into the process. There are at least 100 peers on the distribution of each.

The am_choked and peer_choked options are not disabled. The analysis was carried out block by block, after the start of the download, to exclude the first blocks with am_choked = 0.

Hardware: Xiaomi miRouter Pro R3P.

Everything is set to gigabits. Cable connection. There is no VPN.

The crux of the question: is the speed of downloading torrents artificially reduced through in-depth traffic analysis? :)

If not, try not to say that torrent download speed is not an indicator. It will not be an indicator for people who cannot carry out at least some analysis.

Z. Y. Please do not send me on the line, they can only send an engineer. Just answer please here.

Ufanet is a popular provider in the Republic of Bashkortostan; the company specializes in providing access to TV and the World Wide Web. Digital television from Ufanet is the best combination of high-quality sound and video, thanks to which you can experience genuine emotions while watching the action on the screen. When connected to digital TV, users are completely immersed in their favorite shows and movies.

Interactive TV is available in every home

In order to configure the channels for Ufanet correctly, it is important to know the procedure. The instructions below will help you set up your Ufanet digital TV for Samsung devices.

detailed instructions

Of course, it all depends on the specific model, because the menu structure and interface may differ, but the order of actions and the essence do not change. You can set up your Samsung TV like this:

  • press the Menu key on the remote control, this will help you to go to the main TV menu;
  • select "Country" in the "Channel" section;
  • enter the standard pin code (1234, 1111, 0000) or the numbers that you set yourself;
  • in the parameter "Digital channel" you must select "Others". This will allow you to tune your television correctly;
  • click on "Cable Search Options" in the "Channel" section. Interestingly, in devices that are manufactured after 2010, this item may appear during the Autotuning process.

Cable search options

At this point, we have to perform the most important settings on which the performance of television on Samsung equipment depends. To tune to the correct frequency, enter the ending frequency 770000 and the starting frequency 274000 of the city of Ufa. Set the modulation parameter to 256 QAM and the symbol rate to 6750.

After that, you can return to the "Channel" item, and go to the "Auto tuning" menu. The type of channels (digital), as well as the signal source (cable) are set there.

If you did everything right, then when you search for a Samsung TV, it will find about 10 radio programs and about two hundred TV programs.

Outcomes

Digital TV Ufanet is set up in minutes on any TV. The procedure for different equipment is very similar, and consists of several elementary steps. Finally, we add that after searching for all TV channels, you can set the internal clock (GMT zone and "Auto" clock mode, this is done in the System - Time menu).

There is a provider in Ufa that provides PPPoE communication. In other cities, the same provider provides communication through a different protocol - PPTP. We are talking about the Ufanet company.

It will not be difficult to connect the Ufanet router to the cable, and setting up the connection will be even easier. You just need to do everything in order, and the connection will work the first time.

Classic network harvester Dir-300, its hardware ports

So, before setting up a connection with the Ufanet provider, you need to find out which of the two protocols you will be setting up the router under, PPTP or PPPoE. In both cases, a username and password are used to establish a connection. We are only considering here the option of configuring the "PPTP" connection. As far as Ufaneta is concerned, take into account two nuances to create a connection with this provider. Namely, it is necessary to disable IGMP in the connection settings interface, and it is better to specify "PPTP + Dynamic IP" as the protocol.

D-Link router WAN port parameters

We will show in an example what needs to be done to get into the web interface of the router. The experimental device was a Dir-300 router with a "black" interface, but by analogy, you can configure another model. And the following is common for all devices in which the "PPTP" connection method is implemented. You can create a pair of connections (one under "Dynamic IP", the second under "PPTP"), or one single one, the type of which is "PPTP + Dynamic IP".

It is important to know that in the network of the "Ufanet" provider, those devices that use the "PPTP with a dynamic IP address" protocol will work. It is useless to configure separately the "IPoE" (dynamic IP) communication channel and the "PPTP" connection.

Go to the settings interface

When connecting a computer to any LAN port via a patch cord, do not apply power to the router immediately. Check that the network card is configured for "auto" IP and DNS. It is necessary to open the parameters of the TCP / IP v4 protocol:

Setting up a wired connection in the PC

But even if all the selectors were set correctly, right-click on the connection icon and select the "Fix" line. Turn on the combine harvester itself last.

The device will boot up in about a minute. Then you open your browser and go to this address: 192.168.0.1. For devices other than D-Link, the address ends with "1.1". A form with an authorization request will appear in the browser window. For the model under consideration, the administrator's login and password is the word “admin” without quotes. After successfully logging into the interface, we advise you to switch the language to Russian.

What is displayed at the entrance

It is important to know that if you cannot go to the interface using standard methods, do the following. After the router boots up, the reset button is pressed on it, holding it for 10-12 seconds. As a result, all settings will be reset (each of them will take the default value). Then, you can repeat the steps in this chapter - everything should work as it should.

Setting up a PPTP connection

We hope that the provider's cable is already connected to the WAN port of your router. If this is not the case, then know that you can make the connection when the device is completely de-energized. The following information must be written on the sheet:

  • Ufanet subscriber login;
  • The value of his password;
  • Domain name of the VPN server (it is always pptp.ufanet.ru).

The numeric address of the VPN server in use at the time of writing is 10.8.0.1. This value can be substituted for the domain name, but the provider does not recommend this to anyone, be aware of this.

Actually, the interface of most home routers allows you to set an HTTP address, and not a set of numbers for an IP address. And we must use this. When setting the IP VPN explicitly, we do not take into account the fact that the provider itself has the right to change the value of this IP at any time. And the network harvester that we are configuring allows us to set a name (a sequence of letters of the HTTP address) in the "VPN server" line.

Go to the WAN port parameters tab

Open the GUI as described above. Switch it to the "Advanced Settings" mode, click on the "WAN" link.

Main page of the web interface

A tab will appear on which you need to click the "Add" button. A page with connection parameters should open.

Now we will set up a connection to Ufanet. You need to follow these steps.

Internet channel parameters tab (start)

  1. In the upper list, select the value "PPTP + Dynamic IP";
  2. Be sure to uncheck the "Enable IGMP" checkbox, you can do the same with the "Ping" option;
  3. Scroll down the engine on the right side of the tab;
  4. Fill in the fields with an asterisk: login, password, confirmation, VPN server address;
  5. Select the "CHAP" authentication algorithm (but you can leave "AUTO");
  6. Uncheck the "Ping" box, click the "Save" button.

Internet channel parameters tab (continued)

Finally, remember the changes you made. To do this, select the item "Save. and Restart ”, and after rebooting the combine, it will connect to the provider automatically.

Some Important Configuration Notes

The device that we configured contains the "correct" parameter values by default. This will not always be the case, and it is important to know the following. The "Keep Alive" checkbox, which is contained in the settings tab, must be checked in any case. And for D-Link routers, this applies to two more options - "NAT" and "Firewall". Without them, the connection does not work at all, even regardless of the type of protocol.

But what happens if you enable the "Ping" option (in other models it is called "WAN Ping Respond"). Just like a computer connected directly to an ISP, a router gets a specific IP address. Ping requests can be made to this address from the outside network. We did not use this option so that our router would not respond to these requests.

How to set up an Internet connection yourself if your provider is Ufanet? It is very easy to do this, just spend a few minutes, carefully following the instructions below.

- Andrey, how will this affect the subscribers of the Ufanet cable network?

Absolutely nothing! Our subscribers are now watching on their TV both analog cable TV and digital, and everything will remain so. You will not need to buy any additional devices, change the TV. Everything will be good.

All the media are talking about this, exaggerating this topic. This is causing excitement among citizens. How justified is this panic. Maybe you can explain what is really going on?

Let's figure it out. This is most likely a mess. There are three main types of television in Russia: cable television, which Ufanet provides, satellite television, it is only digital. Not cable, not satellite, this issue does not apply. And the so-called terrestrial television. This is the kind of television that you can receive on your indoor antenna or on the collective antenna, which is on the roof of the house. The question concerns specifically terrestrial television, which is distributed through the air. It is of two types: analog and digital. Digital is relatively new, it is a new direction in this area. But analog, it is very many years old and, in principle, it is natural that our legislators decided to stop supporting this television. And from 2019, as far as I know, it will be discontinued. That is, people who today watch analog terrestrial television using a room or collective antenna, yes, they really will not see this television from some moment. They will need to replace the TV with a modern one that will accept digital terrestrial television or purchase a digital set-top box for digital terrestrial television, or connect to cable television, which is much easier.

Very often, against the background of misunderstanding of people, scammers become more active. How can unscrupulous people take advantage of this situation?

I have heard such stories when some unscrupulous people start to scare people who do not quite understand the topic: “Buy expensive equipment, preferably directly from us, because tomorrow you will no longer show analog television”. Once again, I would like to say that if you are connected to cable or satellite television and they are trying to tell you all this, that you urgently need to purchase something, most likely these are scammers. That is, in no case should you believe in it. And once again I would like to remind you that this topic does not in any way concern subscribers of Ufanet cable television. No additional expenses, equipment purchases are required, so you can rest assured.
