Minimum time to get effect from patches, which I notice on myself - 15-20 minutes. But by this moment, the patches themselves are still “cheerful and cheerful” and I honestly admit that it’s just a pity for me and my inner toad to throw them away, because they are “almost new”. Therefore, I tend to put them in a separate container and put them in the refrigerator for reuse. If anything, hydrogel patches can even be slightly washed with water, in my opinion, the patches do not lose their useful properties from this. Well, in general, yes, any patches are disposable.

Best time to apply patches- from half an hour to an hour (plus or minus). During this time, the skin of the eyelids is guaranteed to smooth out and the patches themselves are no longer a pity to throw out, because. they are guaranteed to give all their benefits to the skin.

Personally, I did not notice a special cumulative effect after regular use of patches, usually the wow effect of smoothed skin disappears after a couple of hours and the procedure can be repeated in a new way.

How to properly store patches

Patches keep well at room temperature., however, you should not put them in the sun or in the bathroom, where any bacteria multiply more actively in conditions of high humidity and there is a chance that if they get into any cosmetic jar they will spoil it much faster than the already not too long expiration date will expire.

I prefer to store patches in the refrigerator. to enhance their cooling effect and extend the shelf life of the entire jar.

Almost all patches of Korean cosmetics discussed in this post are presented in the same packaging format - a plastic jar with a screw cap. Where hydrogel patches are stored in their useful "sauce".

A very important point when storing patches - always make sure that the lid is tightly screwed on. Otherwise, hydrogel patches will give all their benefits to the air, in other words, they will dry out and they can simply be thrown away. But this, I think, is clear.

Well, the most quivering moment when using patches, which I want to reveal in my article how to apply patches under the eyes. At all, the main difference that I notice between them is the shape of the patch itself, which, alas, does not always fit. They are both banana-shaped and petal-shaped ... However, in my opinion, patches should be glued as close as possible to the ciliary contour of the lower eyelids. This is how you can avoid a completely unnecessary crease in this area, which can form if the patches are slightly overexposed, and the eyelids are prone to swelling.

For quite a long time I tried to fit these patches with a narrow tip to the inner corner of the eye (it seems logical to me), but almost never managed to do this without the narrow tip fitting over the eye. This is quite inconvenient, so I cut off the extra tip and after that the patches “fall into place”. I will show how I do it in my review of Petitfri black patches.

In the following example, in the photo with blue patches, I show the second option for using the patch - with a blunt tip to the inner corner of the eye. So you don't need to trim anything, but as you can see, the "capture" area is slightly different in the first and second cases.
