So you can connect acoustics to other devices- for example, through the usual headphone output of a laptop, tablet or player. 
But the output will only be a virtual 5.1-channel sound, even if the original track is multichannel. You can't get anything else from the stereo jack.
If necessary, the converter allows you to reproduce any incoming audio signal in two-channel. Convenient for standard music systems systems 2.1, as well as in cases where the DSP-converter does not play the track correctly.
Method 3. HDMI -> Multichannel Analog
