The procedure for updating the 1C database requires certain knowledge and skills in handling a computer, so it is often difficult for the user. Therefore, if possible, then best of all.

You can get the files necessary for the update in several ways:
- firstly, the latest updates are available on the site users.v8.1c.ru, access to which you get when you conclude an ITS contract (information technology support);
- secondly, you can update 1C via the Internet, for this you need to have registration data (login and password).

This article describes how to update the configuration when downloading update files, but you can use this article to update the program over the Internet. To do this, you need to skip point 2, and when performing point 4, set checkmark 9 and uncheck 8, and then enter your username and password.

ATTENTION! If your configuration was finalized by 1C programmers, it is not recommended to update on your own, because this can lead to errors and even loss of data.

This article is a guide for updating configurations of 1C: Enterprise 8.3. So let's start in order.

1. First of all, create a copy of your database. you can read about. If you have a backup, in case something goes wrong, you can always return to the starting point and either start the process again, or use the services of a 1C programmer.

2. Now we proceed directly to the update. Open the directory with the update, run the setup.exe file and install the update to the default directory.

3. Launch the configurator (steps 1 and 2 in the figure). We select a user with administrative rights (action 3 in the figure).

In the Configurator window go to the menu Configuration → Support → Update configuration(action 4 in the figure).

If step 4 is not available, then you must first open the configuration (step 5) and then repeat step 4.

In the window that opens, select the item "Search for available updates (recommended)" and click the "Next" button (steps 6, 7).

4. In the window that opens for selecting the type of update source, check the boxes as in the figure (steps 8 and 9). Click the "Next" button (action 10).

If you are updating the program via the Internet, then you must uncheck box 8 and check box 9.

5. After a short pause, the available updates window opens. Select the configuration version number and click the "Finish" button (steps 11 and 12 in the figure).

6. Next, the program will ask you questions to which you need to answer "Yes", "Accept" and "Continue". When updating the database configuration, a window for accepting the changes will be displayed. You must click the "Accept" button (action 13).

7. After that, it remains only to start regulated data processing in user mode. To do this, close the configurator and run the program in the "Enterprise" mode (ie, as usual). The program must be run as a user with administrative rights.

8. At startup, the program will ask you a question about the legality of the received update, to which we answer by performing steps 14 and 15 as in the picture.

9. If the screen displays information about changes to the configuration, then your configuration has been updated.

Congratulations, you have updated your 1C program!

In the last article, we examined the procedure for updating the version of the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform (Updating the 1C 8.3 platform) Now we will present to your attention two options for performing updates to the 1C 8.3 configuration on our own, without involving third-party specialists, and we will do this using the example of a typical configuration of Enterprise Accounting 3.0.

Note that the procedure is indicated for a typical configuration that does not contain system modifications, otherwise we recommend that you contact competent specialists for support in order to avoid errors.

Option one - updating through the configurator.

First, you need to download and install the update distribution for the corresponding release. The update file is available at https://users.v8.1c.ru/. The Download updates link opens a list of all available 1C updates. For download new version configuration, you will need to expand the menu Typical 1C configurations for Russia and find the line with the required configuration. In the list of updates for the selected configuration, open the download version and download the Update Distribution.

After the distribution kit has been downloaded, find the updsetup.exe archive on your computer and unpack it into a separate folder. Among the files received after unpacking will be setup.exe, and you need to run it. This will open the configuration product installer. Click Next, confirming the need to install the data, then select (or leave the default) template directory and click Next again. After the program displays a message about the successful installation of the configuration, click Finish.

The next step is to launch the base in the configurator mode. In the Configuration section, open the configuration.

After that, in the same section, go to the Support → Update configuration menu and specify the search option for available updates as the update source, and then the file search area.

In the case when suitable versions found, a list of them will be displayed, the one that is the newest of all presented will be highlighted in bold. Select the one you want and click Finish.

After installing the updates, the system will offer to update the database configuration, we confirm the action.

Option two - automatic update of the 1C 8.3 configuration in the Enterprise mode.

We launch the base in the Enterprise mode. In the program Enterprise Accounting 3.0. the required functionality is located in the Administration section → Internet support and services → Program version update. Here you can also configure the implementation of an automatic check for updates. To get started with automatic installation 1C configuration updates, click the Program update link. In the window that opens, information about the available update is presented: version number, size and description of changes.

If you already have a file to update, click the Install configuration update from file link.

1C programs are two main components:

• technological platform is the basis for configurations, which does not have any user functionality and is not a program in itself, it is the basis for 1C configurations. 7.7, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 are all notation different versions platforms, of which 7.7 is the ancient itself, 8.3 is actual and actively developing in its mechanisms;
• configuration is a set of algorithms and mechanisms for processing information, forms, reports, etc., written on the basis of the platform and intended for accounting, tax, economic and other types of accounting. Configuration is the shell in which the user directly works (for example, 1C: Accounting, 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management, all kinds of industry configurations).

Below we will talk about the current platform 8.3 and the configurations written on its basis.

Update tasks

Constantly changing legislation of the Russian Federation and regulatory documents, changing and introducing new forms of regulated accounting and tax reporting require periodic changes to the 1C programs. In addition, 1C developers identify possible software bugs, the settlement mechanisms and the user interface are being finalized for more convenience in working with the program. For all these purposes, 1C develops and releases configuration updates, which in some cases require another platform.

The full update cycle of the current 1C program is to consistently:

• update platform 8.3 (if required by the configuration);
• update configuration 8.3.

1C releases are not accumulative, i.e. each subsequent one does not include all the previous ones. One or two are allowed, but in general, the program should be regularly updated to keep records up to date.

Users of basic versions, having registered at users.v8.1c.ru, have the opportunity to update themselves. For the PROF version, obtaining licensed updates is available with a valid contract (ITS).

Platform update 8.3

New releases of the 1C: Enterprise 8 technology platform are offered by developers in the form of two distribution options:

• complete distribution kit for installation from scratch;
• update distribution kit including last changes and supplied on disk ITS or available for download on the user's site.

How to update 1c 8.3 yourself:

Before any serious work with the program, you must make a copy of the database! To do this, just copy the data folder to external source or other HDD computer. In the event of problems during the update process or their subsequent identification, it will always be possible to return to the original version. We remind you that when, all program updates are included in the terms of the contract.

If the update was successful, when you click on the button, the change in the configuration structure will be completed, and you can verify this by the release number by clicking on the information icon in the upper right corner of the program.

The need to update 1C Enterprise and any products created on this platform is due to the support of the relevance of their functionality. Updates reflect changes in legislative norms and rules, the release of new forms of regulated reports, expansion of functionality, improvement of the solution interface, as well as fixes for software bugs. Consider, using the example of 1C: Accounting 8, updating the 3.0 configuration with Internet support, that is, automatic and manual (in principle, these rules apply to any typical 1C configurations, for example, ZUP or UT). Before we start, let's pay attention to several important points:

• Depending on the settings of "1C: Accounting 8", updates can be made manually or automatically, but in both cases, only when all users leave the database.
• Before you update 1C, as well as before any other manipulations with the configuration, you need to unload the database and save it in archive format. In a critical situation, if a failure occurs or the updates for some reason come into conflict with the existing system, the saved copy of the database will help you return to the beginning of the process, avoiding losses in settings and data.
• If for the program, from the moment last update, for example, three new versions have been released, the update installation process will have to be repeated three times.
• Before installing typical updates, you should make sure that no modifications have been made to the configuration. Updating an atypical configuration occurs manually, not automatically, and requires the involvement of a specialist to reconcile and add twice changed objects. The lock icon in the configuration window will help to verify this.
• You can update 1C 7.7, PROF, CORP, as well as 1C 8.2 and other previous versions of 1C: Enterprise 8 by purchasing access as part of the 1C: ITS contract.

1C programs require constant renewal... This is especially true for accounting software, in particular 1C: Accounting 8. The main reasons are the constantly changing legislation on accounting and tax accounting, the development of software capabilities and the correction of identified errors. For example, updates to the 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 program are released almost every month, and sometimes several program updates are released within a month.

This article describes the procedure for updating the 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 program via the Internet in user mode.

Updating the 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 program consists of 2 stages:

Updating the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform

For the correct operation of the 1C: Accounting 8 version 3.0 configuration, it is necessary that the 8.3 platform is installed, intended for this configuration.

For example, for the configuration 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0. 37 you need an installed platform 1C: Enterprise 8.3 not lower than 8.3.5. 1231 ... On a lower release of the platform, configuration 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0. 37 will not even open, and a message will be displayed when the program starts.

Therefore, before updating, we will check the installed release of the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform.

This can be done by opening the menu Help - About the program or through the corresponding icon "show information about the program" (yellow circle with the letter i) located in the system commands area in the right upper corner(fig. 1).

In the window that appears, we see that the platforms 1C: Enterprise 8.3 release 8.3.5.1231 and the configuration of 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 release 3.0.37.25 are now installed (Fig. 2).

It will not be possible to update the 1C: Enterprise 8 platform directly from the 1C program either in user mode or through the configurator, so it must first be downloaded from the 1C: Enterprise 8 technical support website and installed on your computer.

To download the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform, go to the technical support site for 1C: Enterprise programs www.users.v8.1c.ru, go to the "download update" hyperlink, enter the login and password received during the registration of the program (if the program is not yet registered, then go through the registration procedure), in the summary table we find "Technology platform 8.3" and select latest version platforms 1C: Enterprise 8.3 (in this case 8.3.5.1248).

From the presented list of possible options for 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platforms, version 8.3.5.1248, select "1C: Enterprise technological platform for Windows (Fig. 3).

If you downloaded and installed the required version of the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform, but when you start the program in the "About" window, you still see the old platform, then most likely you downloaded the wrong version of the platform.

Technological platform 1C: Enterprise 8.3 is supplied as a windows.rar archive file, so after downloading of this file it needs to be unpacked.

After unpacking, you need to find the file (setup.exe) and run it.

After preparing for installation Windows Installer a window for installing the 1C: Enterprise 8 platform will appear. Press the "Next" button (Fig. 4).

In the next window, we are asked to select the components of the 1C: Enterprise 8 platform to be installed and the path where the platform will be installed.

In most cases, we leave everything as it is and click “Next” (Fig. 5).

In the next window, click the "Install" button to start installing the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform.

The process of installing the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform may take several minutes, while the "User Account Control" window may appear in which you must confirm your desire to install this program to your computer (fig. 6)

After that, the process of installing the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform will go, at the end of which you will be asked to install the protection driver for the 1C: Enterprise 8 program.

This checkbox can be unchecked, because if you are using hardware protection of the 1C program (USB key), then you already had this driver installed during the initial installation, but if you use software protection(the connection was made to the computer when installing the 1C program), then this driver is not needed at all (Fig. 7). Click the "Next" button.

(if you do not uncheck this box, then nothing terrible will happen, just install (reinstall) the protection driver of the 1C program)

In the last window, click the "Finish" button and the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform is installed on your computer.

A week later, after installing a new platform 1C: Enterprise 8.3, (after making sure that the program works fine), previous versions of 1C: Enterprise 8.3 can be removed through the Control Panel (to save space on the computer's hard drive).

Please note that if you are still using configurations that run on platform 8.2 (for example, 1C: Accounting, version 2.0, 1C: Salary and Human Resources, version 2.5, 1C: Trade Management, version 10.3, etc.), then the latest version of the platform 8.2 can not be deleted. You must have 2 platforms installed (8.2 and 8.3), which will be selected automatically when you start the corresponding configuration.

Launch configurations 1C: Accounting 8 edition 2.0, 1C: Salary and Human Resources edition 2.5, 1C: Trade Management edition 10.3 on platform 8. 3 , is not recommended, since this configuration is not tested by developers on the 8.3 platform and may not work correctly.

Updating the configuration of 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 via the Internet

After updating the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform, you can proceed to updating the configuration of 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0.

We launch the working base in user mode.

If the program 1C: Accounting 8, version 3.0 is set to automatically check for updates when the program starts, then in the lower left corner we will see a pop-up hint about the availability of configuration updates (Fig. 8)

If we click on this tooltip with the mouse, we will immediately go to the Search and install updates processing (Fig. 13).

To set up an automatic check for 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 updates when the program starts, turn to the Administration - Support and Maintenance menu (Fig. 9)

Here in the group "Software version update" select "Configure software update via the Internet (Fig. 10).

In the window that appears, select Automatic check updates "When starting the program", enter the User Code and the Password that we use to enter technical support 1C on the site www.users.v8 and click OK (fig. 11).

We return to "Support and Service" (Fig. 10).

To install the update 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0, select in the "Program version update" group "Search and install updates".

The window for selecting the method for installing the update appears. If the 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 update files are already installed on the computer, then you can select “Local or network directory and specify the directory where the update files are located.

If these files are not yet installed on the computer, then select “ Automatic search updates on the Internet (recommended) "and click the" Next "button (Fig. 12).

A Search and Install Updates window appears, which shows which version of the 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 configuration is available to us (in this case, version 3.0.37.29), the size of the update file (67.5 MB) and by the "New in version" hyperlink we can see what's new in this version. Click the "Next" button (Fig. 13).

After that, 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0.37.29 update files are received via the Internet. If several updates were missed that require mandatory sequential installation, then several update files will be received. Information about the number of required and downloaded update files will be displayed in the field "Updating files are being received." (fig. 14)

The process of receiving 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 update files can take a long time (from several minutes to several hours, depending on the performance of your computer and the speed of your Internet)

To install updates, the 1C program will ask for a Username and password to enter the infobase (not to be confused with username and password for receiving updates via the Internet). You must select a user and specify the password (if set), which you specify when entering the program. This user must have Administrator rights (Fig. 15).

After that, a window will appear in which you can choose how to install the update 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0. You can install the update right now or when you exit the program.

If there are other users in the database at the moment, you need to ask them to exit this database. This is necessary to create backup Database. By hyperlink «View the list active users»You can see exactly who of the users is currently in this database (Fig.16).

You can also choose the option to create a 1C backup. In this case, if an abnormal situation occurs during the update of 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0, the program will automatically roll back to previous version with the preservation of all data.

I recommend creating backups before starting the update by simply copying the folder in which your database is stored through the explorer. But if you make backups regular means programs 1C, it is better to first create a folder "Backups" on the computer and specify the path to this folder (Fig. 17)

The process of updating the configuration of 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0 is divided into several stages:

Updating infobase configuration

Information about the progress of the update process can be seen on the splash screen of the 1C: Accounting 8 version 3.0 program.

After updating the configuration of 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0, the program will start in user mode and the update will continue. The progress of the further update process can be seen on the indicator (Fig. 19).

Finally, you will see the information “What's new in this version”. In which, by clicking on the link to the ITS website, you can read and see an illustrated version of the changes in this version of 1C: Accounting 8 edition 3.0.

To do this, go to the Administration - Support and Maintenance menu and find in the "Program version update" group, select "Update results and additional processing data "(Fig. 20)

All additional data processing procedures must be completed successfully (Fig. 21). By the hyperlink you can see which procedures have been completed successfully and if any procedure has not been completed, you will see it. In this case, you need to contact a specialist to eliminate this problem.
