Disassembling the Sony PlayStation Portable

Let's proceed to the operation, code-named "disassemble psp":

Step 1. Remove the battery cover and remove it. Thereafter unscrew the screws at the bottom and top of the case.

Step 9 Disconnect the cables from the button board and to the power switch (see photo).

Step 10 Loosen the switch screw and remove it. The same must be done with charging socket(when removing the connector, press the stop on the right side).

Step 11 Carefully move the stopper that holds the speaker and remove it. Disconnect the wire leading to wifi, and remove the metal bar.

Step 12 Coming to the finish line:

Loosen the screws near the left analog;
Remove the screw on the motherboard that secures it to the case;
Disconnect the remaining edging elements;
Disconnect stick and drive cables, and then remove the board from the case;
Remove the screws of the analog and the sealing grid, bend the case in the center (without much effort) and remove drive cover.

At this stage, we have access to all elements, inside the PSP. You can clean the console from dust or replace faulty parts.
