More than 2 million accounts will be migrated in total.

What's going to happen?

No later than April 15, 2015, the @ tut.by mailbox will change its design, become very similar to Yandex.Mail, but will continue to perform its previous functions with the same archive and old folders.

The email address will remain the same -<…>@ tut.by. Mail robots will automatically transfer correspondence and folders to new service safe and sound.

Considering the fact that Beltelecom has a separate dedicated channel for Yandex, TUT.BY promises that the connection to the mailbox will become faster and more reliable.

Update mail service TUT.BY comments general manager LLC "TUT BY MEDIA" Alexander Chekan:

“We understand that many users will have to get used to the new appearance their box, but the Yandex product is the best of possible solutions for TUT.BY mail today. Our long-term cooperation with this company allows us to be sure that the quality of service will be at the highest level and letters will continue to come and be delivered instantly. "

The set of filters determines how the mail arriving at the user's address will be processed.

How do I create a new filter? Go to the "Settings -> Filters" page, specify a name for the new filter and confirm it by clicking the "Create" button. Switch to the editing mode by clicking the "Edit" link.
The filter is a logical chain of the form: if Meaning Parameter satisfies Condition then execute Action with the indicated Arguments.

As Parameter the following fields can be used:

From field The email address from which the email was sent. Ex .: *@*.by (i.e. any addresses in the .by domain) or ivan*@tut.by (any users on tut.by starting with ivan)
Sender The name of the person or the name of the robot that sent the letter
Sender's name The name of the sender of the message being processed from the "From:" field
Return-Path field The content of the service field of the letter "Return-Path:"
To field The content of the "To:" field. Ex .: "TUT.BY User"
Cc field Content of the "Cc:" field (Copy)
Any To or Cc fields Means that Actions over the letter will be executed if they match Conditions for at least one of the addresses listed in the "To:" and "Cc:" fields
All To or Cc fields This condition means that Actions over the letter will be executed if they match Conditions for all recipients listed in the "To:" and "Cc:" fields
Reply-To field Email address where the reply to this letter should be sent
Letter subject The subject of the letter from the "Subject:" field. Ex .: * exclusive offer * (i.e. any email with a subject containing the words exclusive offer in uppercase letters)
Message ID The content of the service field "Message-Id:"
Message size The size of the message being processed, in bytes. Ex .: 1024 (i.e. 1024 bytes) or 100K (i.e. 100 kilobytes)
Current time Current time in hh: mm or hh: mm: ss format, where hh is hours, mm is minutes, ss is seconds. You can use the "temporary" suffix am or pm
The current date Current date and time in DD MM YYYY, DD MM YYYY hh: mm, DD MM YYYY hh: mm: ss, DD MM YYYY hh: mm: ss + ZZZZ or DD MM YYYY hh: mm: ss -ZZZZ formats. Here DD is the current day of the month, MM is the 3-letter abbreviation of the month (Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec), YYYY is the year, hh is the hour, mm is minutes, ss - seconds, ZZZZ - time zone.
Ex .: 20 Jun 2000
This day The current day of the week in numeric format from 0-6 (where 0 is Sunday and 6 is Saturday) or 3-letter (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat)
The letter is not from a robot Determines if the letter was created by a person or a machine. Requires no indication Conditions and The values since the message is checked for the absence of the lines Precedence: bulk, Precedence: junk, Precedence: list, X-List *, X-Mirror *, X-Auto *, X-Mailing-List in its headers and the presence of a non-empty header "Return -Path: "
Title field Checks the email header you specified. For example: the "Header field - equals - X-Mailer: MyMailer *" condition will check for the presence of the "X-Mailer:" header with a value starting with MyMailer.
The letter is encrypted Determines if the letter is encrypted or signed with an electronic signature. Examination Conditions performed using the following operands:
SMIME: encrypted - the message is encrypted using the S / MIME standard;
SMIME: signed - the message is signed with an electronic signature according to the S / MIME standard;
signed - the message is signed with an electronic signature;
In other cases, the field Condition is left blank.
There is a box Checks the existence of the specified folder in the mailbox. For example: the "Mailbox exists - equals - Friends" condition will check for the presence of a folder named Friends in the mailbox.
A source;
Any of the recipients;
Each of the recipients; Sender server address
For professional users

Most of the listed fields apply the schema Parameter - Condition - Meaning, where Condition can be set to "equal" and "not equal" or "contains" and "does not contain", and Meaning is a certain text string-template, in which the group special characters "*" can be used, denoting the presence of any sequence of characters (from 0 or more) in the string instead of the special character. If such a string is not specified, then the presence or absence of this Parameter among the headers of the message being processed.

If you are using Conditions"equal" and "not equal", then a search will be made for the specified by you in The value lines in selected Parameter... If you want to make a comparison Parameter with some set of strings you specified and expect to match at least one of them, then specify them in The value separated by commas (without extra spaces) and use Conditions"contains" and "does not contain".

To the fields "Message Size", "Current time" and "The current date" also applicable Conditions"less than" and "greater than" with the indication as The values, respectively, letter size, time of day and current date.

What is the difference between From Field, Sender, and Sender Name?

    When using the "From Field", Meaning is compared with the address in the "From:" field incoming letter(example: the condition "From field is equal to - *@tutby.com" will be fulfilled for any letter from the tutby.com domain);

    When using "Sender", the "Sender:" header in the received letter is analyzed;

    When using "Sender's name", the name in the "From:" field of an incoming message is parsed (example: the "Sender's name is equal to - * Vasily *" condition will be executed for messages, the "From:" field of which looks like the following constructs - "From: [email protected](Vasily A. Pupkin) "or" From: "Vasily A. Pupkin" [email protected]"or" From: Vasily A. Pupkin ").

The following commands can act as "Actions":

Save The message will be copied to the specified in the field Arguments mail folder. The specified folder must exist in the box.
When assigning Argument in the form ~ username / folder_name, the letter will be copied to a specific folder of the specified user, but only if you have appropriate
Save encrypted Acts similar to the Save command, first converting the message to S / MIME encrypted format
Redirect Forwards the message to the specified in the field Arguments mailing address. If there are several addresses, they must be separated by commas.
Forward Arguments mailing address. In this case, this user is substituted as the sender. If there are several addresses, they must be separated by commas.
Redirect Also redirects the message to the specified in the field Arguments address, but at the same time, in contrast to the "Forward" command, the message headers practically do not change. Only the "Return-Receipt-To:" and "Errors-To:" fields (if any contained in the message) are removed and the "X-Mirrored-by:" header is added.
To answer Forms a response to the message and sends it to the address specified in the "Reply-to:" field or, in its absence, the address specified in the "From:" field. The line "Re:<предыдущая_тема>". As Arguments sets the message text in which you can use .

If specified in the field Arguments the text begins with a "+" sign, then the lines following this sign, for example, additional fields "Cc:", "Bcc:" will be inserted into the header of the generated letter. Lines separated from such a heading by an empty line will be considered as text.
When using this header substitution, you will need to set the "Subject:" header (the subject of the letter) on your own. it will not be generated automatically. Example:

Subject: subj
X-Field2: 2

Reply All Acts similarly to the previous option, but sends messages to all addresses listed in the "To:" and "Cc:" fields
Send message Sends the message specified in the field Arguments... The text should contain lines with the main headers ("To:", "Cc:", "Subject:", etc.), then an empty line and the actual text of the letter. In the text of the message, you can use
Flag Sets or resets a specific field Arguments a set of flags for this message. Valid values are Read, Unread, Flagged, Unflagged, Answered, Unanswered. Multiple values can be listed, separated by commas
Add title Adds the specified in the fields to the letter Arguments headers. Headings are written in the format "Title: heading_text"
Mark email subject Adds to the Subject of the letter (field "Subject:") specified in the field Arguments text string.
Reject Stops execution of the current filter and all other lower priority filters for this message. This action must be specified as the last action in the rule. The message being processed will be rejected and a delivery failure message will be sent to the sender. If the string Arguments contains some text, it will be used in the sent message. You can save the text of the rejected email using Action Save to Reject
Stop processing Stops execution of the current filter and all other lower priority filters for this message. This action should be specified as the last action in the rule. The message will be saved in the Inbox
Delete letter Also stops the execution of the current filter and all other lower priority filters for this message. This action must be specified as the last action in the rule. The message being processed will be rejected, but a successful delivery message will be sent to the sender if such confirmation has been requested
Save Sender For professional users. Saves the address of the message sender ("From:") to a special text list, the name of which is specified in the field Arguments... The subsequent use of the saved data, for example, to check for the presence of the sender's address in the list, is carried out using a filter and conditions "contains" or "does not contain" (ex: "From field - contains - #BlockedSenders")
Accept request, SendIM For users of the "calendar" functions of the postal service.

Important: the actions of the current rule are performed only when executing of all the conditions specified in it and in the sequence specified by you.
Important: rules with a higher priority (for example, "9") are executed before rules with a lower priority (for example, "3"). If the conditions for the current message are met for rules with the same priority, then their processing will occur in the sequence in which they are displayed on the page with the list of processing rules. Naturally, the process can be interrupted earlier by setting the command "Delete message" or "Stop processing" in any rule.
Important: performing Actions: "Save", "Forward", "Forward", "Reply", "Reply to All" and "Send Message" does not delete the original message. If you want to delete it, add one more Action "Delete message" at the end of the rule.

In 2015 popular Belarusian portal TYT.BY switched to using the Yandex mail service, as a result of which the owners of iOS devices experienced some discomfort, as they had to re-configure the mail client.

Unfortunately, setup does not take place automatically, as is the case with Gmail. The problem is aggravated by the fact that during setup, you will need to manually enter the addresses of the POP and SMPT servers, as well as go through the registration procedure on the site itself. Moreover, this nuisance affects all users of the resource - both existing and new. In the instructions below, we will describe in detail the procedure for setting up TUT.BY mail on iPhone and iPad.

How to set up TUT.BY mailbox on iPhone or iPad after switching to Yandex.Mail

1 ... Go to the TUT.BY website in a browser on a computer, smartphone or tablet, enter your username and password, click "Mail".

The resource will automatically redirect you to the registration completion page, where you need to enter additional account information. Fill in the required fields and click Complete registration.

2 ... Go to the Yandex.Mail web interface using the link, click on the gear icon in the right corner next to the name account and in the pop-up window select the section Other.

3 ... Choose a section Mail programs in the column to the left.

4 ... Check the boxes next to all the items and click the button Save changes.

Attention. Without performing the above actions, the correct work of tut.by mail on the iPhone and iPad may be impossible.

5 ... On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings —> mail —> Accounts.

6 ... On the next screen, select " Add account". Since the service you are looking for is absent in the list of proposed services, click " Other«;

7 ... Going to the section "New account", enter your account details and click "Further"... The username must be entered in full, for example [email protected]

Select protocol IMAP or POP to further set up mail on iPhone or iPad.

8 ... Below, fill in all the available cells in this way:

If you have selected the IMAP protocol:

  • incoming mail server - imap.yandex.ru
  • outgoing mail server - smtp.yandex.ru
  • Enter Password and Username. Important! Save in the upper right corner.

If you selected POP protocol:

  • incoming mail server - pop.yandex.ru
  • outgoing mail server - smtp.yandex.ru
  • Enter Password and Username. Important! The username must be entered in full, for example [email protected] Do not forget to confirm actions with a button Save in the upper right corner.

In case of problems, try to manually register the ports for the servers of incoming and outgoing mail (in most cases it is not required):

Incoming mail (POP3):
Server name: pop.yandex.ru;
Use SSL: Yes;
Port: 995.

Outgoing mail (SMTP):
Server name: smtp.yandex.ru;
Use SSL: Yes;
Port: 465.

For users using IMAP4:
Server name: imap.yandex.ru;
Use SSL: Yes;
Port: 993.

This completes the setup of TUT.BY mail on iPhone and iPad.

Dmitry Smirnov,

For several weeks now gradual transfer of the contents of mailboxes and all correspondence of TUT.BY users to the Yandex.Mail service. As a reminder, it was caused by the closure by Google of all its e-mail services located outside the gmail.com domain on the Google Apps Partner Edition service.

We have already answered the most frequently asked questions from users (we recommend that you read them again), however, during the transfer, new points arise that require additional clarification.

Deleting cookies

If, upon authorization on the http://mail.tut.by page, a form on Yandex opens with a prompt to enter your login and password again, we recommend that you close the page, delete cookies (via browser settings) and try again to open the mailbox from the http page: //mail.tut.by. Below we provide links on how to do this in the most popular browsers:
  • Deleting Cookies in Google browser Chrome, Chromium and browsers based on it (Yandex Browser, Amigo, etc.) - link;
  • Deleting cookies in Mozilla Firefox- link ;
  • Deleting cookies in Internet Explorer- link ;
  • Deleting cookies in Opera - link.
In addition, if you have previously used the same browser to log into your mail, you can try to log into your mailbox using a different one that does not store old cookies.

Updating email client and mobile device settings

If you have previously used a mail collector or configured authorization on a mobile device, then after transferring the mailbox, you need to change the settings:

If you did not manage to save your Google account data before transferring

Those who, after transferring the mailbox, need temporary access to the old Google account to save files from Google Drive, contacts, etc., you need to:
  1. Log in from http://mail.tut.by to an account of the form USER_NAME.moved with the same password;
  2. Use the instructions from Google for data transfer (link);
  3. The easiest way to save contacts is through export, and upload to Yandex through import. The easiest way to save data from Google Drive is to use Google service Takeout.
If these methods did not help you and you did not find the answer to your question in, then we recommend that you send detailed description problems on [email protected] (if the current box does not open, you can start / use backup mail). Specialists will definitely help you.
