Maximum brightness is very high, it means, given the effective anti-glare filter, readability even on a sunny day outside the room should be at a great level. In complete darkness, brightness can be reduced to a comfortable level. In the presence of automatic brightness adjustment over the illumination sensor (it is located on the right of the lattice of the upper front loudspeaker). In automatic mode, when changing external light conditions, the screen brightness is rising, and decreases. The operation of this function depends on the position of the brightness adjustment slider. From the ideal, the screen of the tested device is slightly distinguished by a controversial version with a color coverage, slightly leaving the border of the SRGB, and not the best color balance for this class. The idea may not be good, but in its implementation definitely there is something to refine. In addition, the algorithms of such blur have long been known - the question is only available for processing facilities. If HTC engineers are patient, like Samsung, and learn to bring their ideas to a good implementation, we will be able to see many interesting decisions.

Such scaling is absolutely inappropriate and significantly reduces the clarity of the image. The sound on MHL is displayed (in this case, the sounds were heard through the headphones connected to the monitor, since there are no loudspeakers in the monitor) and it has good quality. In this case, the multimedia sounds via the loudspeaker of the smartphone itself are not displayed, and the volume with the buttons on the smartphone housing is not adjustable, only turns off. The smartphone connected via MHL is charged (at least this is evidenced by the charge indicator).
