0. Preparatory work

2. Making backup

Be sure to choose before the start of the backup so that the result is not saved in the internal memory, but on the memory card. I allocated all available options as the first backup. But if I understand correctly, only EFS is not restored by the new firmware.

3. Custom firmware

You can flash the firmware from both the computer through ODIN and directly from the smartphone through the recovery. Just pay attention that for firmware via ODIN will need .tar file, whereas you need to sew through the recovery .zip..
