Creating a UEFI boot DVD. Installing Win7 with GPT disk with existing markup

Many of the modern brand manufacturers of hardware components for PCs, as well as "software" seek to provide support for the UEFI interface products. This software solution is designed to become an alternative to the usual to many lovers. computer equipment I / O system - BIOS. What is the specificity of the software under consideration? What nuances are characteristic to use his capabilities?

What is UEFI.

Consider the basic information about UEFI. What is this development? UEFI is a special interface that is installed between the OS installed on the computer and softwareresponding to low-level functions of the PC hardware components.

Sometimes referred to as Bos UEFI. In this name, on the one hand, there is some error because BIOS is a software solution that is functioning in other principles. UEFI developed by Intel, BIOS is software that exists in several versions supported by different brands.

On the other hand, the assignment of BIOS and UEFI is almost the same thing. BIOS UEFI - formally, not quite correctly phrase, but not contrary to the logic of software and hardware control algorithms PC.

BIOS Differences from UEFI

But the first thing we will pay attention is to find the differences between the "pure" BIOS and the "classic" UEFI. The fact is that the software address under consideration is positioned as a more advanced alternative to BIOS. Many manufacturers of modern motherboards for computers are trying to support the appropriate type of software from Intel. Thus, the differences between UEFI and BIOS we can trace, after studying, first of all, the disadvantages of the second system.

The first lack of BIOS is that this system It cannot provide a full-fledged disk space on very large "hard drives" - those that are exceeded in the volume of 2 terabytes. Indeed, a few years ago, such values \u200b\u200bcharacterizing capacity hard disksIt seemed fantastic, and therefore PC manufacturers did not particularly focus on the corresponding BIOS lack of. But today, the "Winchester" volume more 2TB will not surprise anyone. PC manufacturers began to feel that it is time to switch to UEFI, which is an objective need, based on modern technological trends.

Another feature of the BIOS is that it supports a limited number of primary partitions on the hard disk. In turn, UEFI works with 128. In the structure of the new software solution from Intel, a new partition table was implemented - GPT, which, in fact, allows you to use the marked technological advantage of the UEFI.

With all marked differences in a new softwaredeveloped by Intel, and the traditional BIOS I / O system, the main functions of the corresponding solutions are generally coincided. If not considered a fundamentally new security algorithm in UEFI, the actual differences between the systems are not too much. Some experts believe that the new software platform allows you to quickly load operating systems, others note that it is relevant only for Windows 8. Consider, in fact, the security system implemented in UEFI, more.

New security technology

What is ahead of the new UEFI BIOS system - this is the level of security. The fact is that there are viruses that are able to embed in the chip where the BIOS algorithms are prescribed. After that, it becomes possible to download the OS with advanced user rights, which opens the widest opportunities for hacker. In turn, in a new solution from Intel, a secure load is implemented - the UEFI provides an appropriate algorithm called Secure Boot.

It is based on the use of special keys that must be certified by the largest IT market brands. However, according to specialists, there are not too many such companies in practice. In particular, with support for the appropriate options with operating system manufacturers, it fully provides only Microsoft and only in Windows 8. There is also information that compatibility with a new security system is implemented in some Linux distributions.

Advantages of UEFI

Obviously, the noted flaws of BIOS are, at the same time, the advantages of a new software solution. At the same time, UEFI is characterized by a number of other major advantages. Consider them.

First of all, it is convenient, intuitive and functional interface. As a rule, it implements mouse support - which is not typical for the BIOS. Also, many versions of UEFI (BIOS This option is also not peculiar to) provide a Russified interface.

The algorithms provided for by the new software solution allow you to load operating systems in most cases significantly faster than using BIOS. For example, Windows 8, installed on a computer with UEFI support, can be loaded with adequate performance of the processor and other key hardware components - literally in 10 seconds.

Among the most significant advantages of the software solution under consideration, which allocate many IT specialists are simpler, in comparison with the BIOS mechanisms, the update algorithm. Another useful UEFI option is the presence in this system of own which can be used if several OS is installed on the PC.

So, the technological advantages of the new PC management software interface, which is developed by Intel, are clear to us. The largest brands-manufacturers of hardware components for PC provide compatibility of the appropriate "iron" with the UEFI - Gigabyte, Asus, Sony. Go to new systemAs many IT experts believe, can turn into a steady technological trend. The opportunities that the global IT community offers Intel, which has developed UEFI, may well be attractive to leading manufacturers of software and hardware components for PCs. Especially since the relevant UEFI technological options are supported by the largest brand in the market of operating systems.

Facts about Secure Boot

Consider more details of the Secure Boot technology supported by UEFI. What is this concept? The safe download of the computer, which is designed to protect the system, as we noted above, from the penetration of viruses. True, for its full use of the keys that are used by this Protocol must be certified. At the moment, this criterion satisfies quite a few manufacturers of software. Among those - Microsoft, which implemented support for the corresponding algorithms in Windows 8.

It can be noted that this circumstance in some cases may complicate the installation on a PC, which runs under the control of UEFI, other operating systems. If you have to install Windows - UEFI can still exhibit some loyalty to this - but provided that the OS version will be as close as possible to the one that is installed by the computer manufacturer. It can also be noted that some distributions Linux Also compatible with the Secure Boot option.

But even if, due to the function under consideration, the download of the new OS will be prohibited by the system, in the structure of the UEFI interface, it is possible to disconnect the Secure Boot algorithms. It is clear that in this case, the OS load will not be so secure, however, the corresponding option can be activated at any time again and start working with Windows 8.

What OS are fully compatible with UEFI?

In very rare cases, individual IT specialists have an installation on a PC with support for Secure Boot alternative OS. For example, it is known that theoretically you can put Windows 7 to some laptops with support for UEFI BIOS. ASUS - among the manufacturers of such PCs. But it is rather an exception to the rules. In general, the likelihood of a successful installation of even other editions of Windows 8. At the same time, as we noted above, some Linux distributions are also compatible with the UEFI options.

Features UEFI settings

Consider some nuances setting up the Intel software solution. An interesting option is the Emulation of the BIOS UEFI. What is this opportunity? Indeed, in some uEFI versions The algorithms for which the PC is organized in accordance with those mechanisms that use the I / O system, which is the historical predecessor of the UEFI is implemented.

Depending on the specific PC, this mode May be referred to in different ways. Most often it is Legacy or Launch CSM. At the same time, there are no difficulties with how to install UEFI in standard loading mode.

UEFI access nuances

Another noteworthy fact that it is useful to note - there a large number of versions of UEFI. They can differ significantly in PCs issued by different brands. At the same time, the availability level of certain functions on different computers Also can differ significantly. It often happens, for example, that when the computer is loaded, the menu is displayed, with which you can enter the UEFI settings. But in this case, Windows, as a rule, an alternative possibility of loading the necessary options is provided. You need to enter "Parameters" and activate the option "Special download options".

After that, you can reboot - and several PC boot options will appear on the screen. there is alternative way Provide access to the appropriate UEFI options. On many PCs it works. You need to press ESC at the very beginning of the computer. After this menu, which is in question, should open.

Specificity of work in different modes

It should be noted that when changing the usual mode of operation of the UEFI on Legacy, it is desirable to use required programsthat require the secure boot or work when emulating the BIOS, to re-enable the UEFI interface with all the relevant options. Otherwise, Windows 8, as some IT specialists noted may not start. At the same time, there are no such problems on many PCs. Some brands manufacturers are implemented into the control structure of the PC algorithms that allow you to activate the UEFI mode automatically. In some PC models, a hybrid mode is implemented in which the UEFI system is loaded from any media, and if necessary, the BIOS modulation can be launched. Differences in UEFI versions can also assume that the secret boot is disabled in the Intel software solution mode, it is impossible. To do this, you will have to activate the BIOS emulation function.

UEFI and bootable flash drives

In some cases, users have the need to download operating system from a flash drive. The main difficulty is that having a format other than FAT32, the UEFI loading flash drive is not recognized. But this problem can be successfully resolved. How?

So, by default, the bootable flash drives for Windows are formatted into which the UEFI does not recognize. Therefore, the main task is to ensure that the corresponding hardware component is formatted in a more versatile file system - FAT32. The most interesting thing is that by many IT experts it is considered obsolete. But on the example of one of the most modern software solutionsWhat is definitely UEFI, we can trace the relevance of the relevant standard.

Flash drive to download in UEFI mode: Components

What do we need to ensure that the UEFI boot flash drive is recognized without problems? First of all, this is actually a USB carrier itself. It is desirable that its capacitance is at least 4 GB. It is also desirable to valuable files It was not placed on it, as we have to fully format the USB flash drive. The next component you need is a Windows distribution. Let it be 64-bit windows version 7. Another feature of the UEFI, which should be said - 32-bit OS from Microsoft Data The system does not support.

Preparation of flash drive

If we have marked components, you can start work. First insert the USB flash drive then - open the command line in windows interface. It is necessary that the user has administrator rights. Through you need to run the DiskPart program - just entering this word. After that, you must enter the List Disk command, which will display the list of disks present in the system. It needs to find a USB flash drive. If it is in the list under 2 number, you need to enter the Seleck Disk 2 command.

Formatting flash drive

Next you need to format the carrier. To do this, enter the Clean command. After that, you need to create a primary partition on the disk. This can be done using the Create Partition Primary command. After that, the created section should be done active. To do this, enter the Active command. After that, you can display a list of sections. To do this, enter the List Volume to the command line. Find the section that we have created. If it is specified at number 3, we enter the SELECT Volume command 3. After that, you need to format it in the FAT32 system. To do this, enter the Format FS \u003d FAT32 command. Basic bootable media is thus ready. But that's not all. You must assign a disk letter flash drive. This can be done using the ASSIGN command. After that, enter EXIT and exit the command line.

Record Distribution on USB flash drive

After all the actions described above, you must copy the Windows 7 distribution to the USB flash drive. This can also be done using the command line. How? This provides a special command - xcopy. You need to enter it, then - specify the disk address with the distribution kit, insert a symbol *, specify the letter that is configured to download to the UEFI flash drive, after which you enter the following command symbols / S / E command. Then you need to go through the command line on the USB flash drive. There you need to get into the EFI \\ Microsoft \\ Boot directory. It must be copied to the EFI \\ BOOT folder. After that, you need to copy the file called bootmgfw.efi to the EFI \\ Boot folder, after which it is renamed it to the bootx64.efi file.

Working with flash drive completed. UEFI disk with FAT32 file system, in which we just can recognize without problems. Accordingly, it can be installed on the Windows 7 PC from it. Of course, provided that the Secure Boot algorithm is disabled in the UEFI options, which prohibits installing the OS computer, which differ from Windows 8.

Hello.

Who would not say, and popularity optical disks Rapidly falls: not even in all computers and laptops there is a drive for them. And, probably, it is not surprising: because the ordinary flash drive, which is fit in any pocket, can easily replace them.

For windows installations It is also more convenient to use a USB flash drive (USB-port is on any computer!). But for this it needs to be correctly recorded / prepare.

In this article I will consider everything typical questionsassociated with the creation of installation flash drives: programs for this operation, step-by-step settings Before recording, the process of creating flash drives with multiple OS (multi-load), UEFI flash drives. But first things first...

Note!

You may be useful to you an article on how to download ISO-image from Windows 10 [officially and legally] -

Similar programs are quite a lot. All of them to embrace in one article is an ungrateful matter, and not necessary. I will give below those programs that used (and use) repeatedly when writing their bootable media.

Approx. : How to use this or that program will be told in the second part of this article.

Table # 1 (basic)

Program name / site address Description Screenshots
Ultraiso.

One of best programs To work with ISO images of discs. Allows you to edit them, extract files (or add) from them, write images to a flash drive / disk, etc.

In general, an indispensable program for working with ISO format, and I repeatedly recommended it in my articles (and in this format, by the way, almost all Windows is distributed).

(main program window)
Rufus.

A small free utility capable of creating almost any bootable flash drives, memory cards, etc. Allows you to prepare including flash drives under UEFI.

Another advantage of the utility: it works slightly faster than other analogs.

Note: There is like portable version (not needed in installation) and classical. Works in all Windows: XP, 7, 8, 10.

(RUFUS settings for writing flash drives)
One of the most famous software for recording loading media. Allows you to create bootable media from OS: Windows 2000, XP, 7, 8, 10, etc.

The program also allows you to create multi-load flash drives (i.e., on which 2-3 and more Windows OS and, when loading, you can choose what to install).

In general, an indispensable software if you have to create installation media from time to time.

(Setup before writing a flash drive)
WINTOFLASH. Simple I. convenient program To create loading media. In the process of creating and setting, you will be accompanied by a master: the whole process goes to steps, which is very convenient if you have never used such programs before.

Capabilities:

  • Recording flash drives with Windows XP / 2003 / Vista / 2008/7 / 8/10;
  • Selecting a USB drive loader: GRUB or STANDARD;
  • Support images: ISO, RAR, ARJ, ZIP, 7Z, CAB, DMG (many similar utilities are supported only by ISO!);
  • Ability to record on a flash drive of recovery discs or mini-° C (for example, Bartpe et al.).
(Main Window WinToflash)
Windows 7. uSB DVD. Download Tool. A simple and convenient utility to record the loading flash drives from the Microsoft itself (therefore it was impossible not to include in this review).

You can record a bootable USB flash drive with the following Windows: 7, 8, 10.

The entire recording process is broken down by several steps: the choice of flash drive, the choice of image, confirmation, recording ... By the way, there is nothing superfluous in the program: design in style minimalism. In general, I recommend!

Of the disadvantages: it is not always possible to write an ISO image with Windows on a USB flash drive in 4 GB (the program asks 8, although other similar utilities record this image on the same flash drive ...).

(first step - the choice of ISO image)

Auxiliary programs

A small free * software to work with images (supports a huge number of different formats: ISO, MDS / MDF, CCD, etc.). After installing this program, you have in "My Computer" appear virtual drive (Their number can be enlarged) in which you can open any of the images. For a computer, it will not look like that you discovered a real CD / DVD drive in the drive.

In addition to the opening of images, you can also create them from various disks. In general, an indispensable program on a PC (especially with the development and promotion of disk images).

* Approx.: In addition free versionOn the developer's website you can find a paid (with an extended functionality).

Analog Daemon Tools., has the same functions: creating and opening images, support for protected disks, etc. Alcohol 120%, is a paid version of the program, there is free - Alcohol 52%.

In principle, you can work with both Daemon Tools and Alcohol. The choice is a matter of taste!

Step-by-step creation of the loading flash drive

Windows XP.

Once is one of the most popular OS from Microsoft. Now, of course, its popularity falls and still pretty big number PC works on this OS. Therefore, I decided to include it in this article ...

WINTOFLASH.

In my opinion the easiest way to write a bootable flash drive with Windows XP is to use the WinToflash utility. The fact is that it has a built-in master who will hold you through all the thorns ... (by the way, the Lite version is for work).

After starting the utility, click on the green check mark (Scrong below) - " Windows installation program wizard on USB".

WINTOFLASH - Getting Started Master

The next step: you must specify the path to the file image with Windows XP and select a flash drive to which this image will be recorded.

Actually, in the next step, the program will warn you that all information will be removed from the disk and will offer to continue. Agree and wait until all files are copied to the USB flash drive.

To help! I have more detailed instructions ON WINSETUPFROMUSB -

This program is somewhat different from the previous one. First, there is no master who will lead you down the steps (all settings need to be introduced by itself), secondly, there is no support for the Russian language ...

First, insert a USB flash drive into a USB port and run WinsetupFromusB and the administrator name.

  1. choose the inserted USB flash drive;
  2. click Tick "Auto Format It WITH FBINST", file system - NTFS;
  3. specify the path to the Windows XP distribution folder (ISO image can be unzipped using the WinRAR program, or open it in Daemon Tools (links to programs are presented above));
  4. latest Barcode - Press the "Go" button.

In the next step, the program will warn you that all data on the flash drive in the process of writing data will be deleted. Just confirm it.

If the flash drive has been successfully discharged - you will see the Job Done / Work window.

Windows 7, 8, 10

In principle, one and the same utilities can be used to record these OS - the whole process is identical. I will show on the example of several utilities the whole process in steps.

Windows 7 USB / DVD Tool

Despite the fact that this utility is designed for Windows 7, you can write using it with a USB flash drive with Windows 8/10. Because This program is the simplest (easier nowhere) from everything and the entire process of writing the image in it consists of only 4 steps, I recommend it in the first place.

Step 1: Specify the ISO image from Windows OS ("Browse" button when the image is specified, click "Next").

Specify ISO file

Step 2.: Select the device to record. In this case, you need to choose or USB deviceor DVD. Choose the first.

Step 3.: Choose a disc letter to which entry will be conducted (i.e., specify the desired USB flash drive, because there may be a few pieces connected to a PC ...).

Step 4.: Recording process. When the operation will be shown about the successful completion of the operation (Bootable USB Device Created SuccessFully) - you can restart the PC and check the flash drive ...

As can be seen above, the whole process is extremely simple and does not be overwhelmed.

Ultraiso.

Update Article 24.01.2019: Added screenshots version 3.4. Also, my blog has an instruction on working with RUFUS 3.4 -

USB flash drive UEFI

UEFI is new standard, new interface (If you can put it so). He is designed to replace the "old" BIOS. One of the main tasks of UEFI is a computer protection from boot viruses that are downloaded together (or up to) Windows OS (apologize for tautology).

Therefore, in new computers / laptops, if you connect a USB flash drive to their USB port created by classic way - That PC will not see her! In order for this USB flash drive to be visible: you need to switch the UEFI on Legacy (the writing can be slightly different, depending on the BIOS / UEFI version) and turn off the Secure Boot.

In the same part of the article, I will consider a couple of ways to create a bootable UEFI flash drive (so as not to turn off the Secure Boot protection in the BIOS). So...

Method number 1 - using the WinsetUpFromUSB utility

First, run the utility on behalf of the administrator (how to make: right click on the executable file, then choose in context menu The desired function).

  1. Select a flash drive (be careful, when recording, all data on the flash drive will be removed!);
  2. Click the tick "Auto Format It WITH FBINST" and choose file System FAT 32 (other checkboxes do not touch);
  3. Next, choose iSO file image With Windows OS (in the example below, I chose Windows 8);
  4. Click the GO button and wait for the completion of the process.

Configure WinsetUpFromUSB to write a UEFI flash drive.

Method number 2 - Using the RUFUS utility

RUFUS - Excellent recording utility different types loading media. All settings are performed in one window, everything is simple and fast.

You need to run the utility as well as from the administrator (screenshot below).

RUFUS 3.4 - Creating a flash drive under UEFI (GPT)

Multi-load flash drive (several OS on 1 flash drive!)

You can write a flash drive not only one version of Windows OS, but at once a few! For example, imagine on one flash drive can be OS: Windows XP 32 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit and Windows 10 64bit. In the case of which, you do not need to carry a bunch of flash drives with different OS - with one single you can immediately install the desired one. Below will consider in detail how and what is being done ...

To create such a flash drive, you need the following:

  • several ISO images with the desired systems (for example, Windows XP and Windows 7). By the way, image of Windows. XP is better to take with integrated SATA drivers, otherwise on new motherboards When installing, get a "blue" screen;
  • Daemon Tools or Alcohol (if you want to add Windows 2000, XP to USB flash drive): Programs that can open an ISO image (i.e., you will see a virtual drive in "My Computer", since it is not an ISO image, but a regular disk is inserted into the CD-ROM. Presents in the first part of the article,) ;
  • flash drive for 8-16 GB (the more OS is going to write down - the more room there should be a flash drive);
  • the program (presented at the top of the article,).

Step-by-step instruction Creating a multi-load flash drive

  1. Run the program WinsetUpFromUSB on behalf of the administrator. To do this, simply go to the folder with the program, select the executable file and click on it right mouse button, then select the "Run from the administrator" in the context menu.
  2. Next, in Daemon Tools, open an image from Windows 2000/2003 / XP (those who will not write to the USB flash drive can skip this step).

    The ISO image with Windows XP is open in Daemon Tools.

  3. Insert the USB flash drive to the USB port;
  4. Next need to ask the following parameters: 1) Indicate the inserted USB flash drive (in my case, the disk "E: \\"); 2) Put a tick "Auto Format It WITH FBINST", select the NTFS file system (If you plan to create a USB flash drive under UEFI - Choose FAT 32); the remaining ticks by default; 3) Specify the virtual drive in which the ISO image is opened with Windows XP / 2000; 4) Indicate the ISO image from Windows 10 (in my case, it was precisely this OS for a multi-load flash drive); 5) Press the "GO" button - the start of the flash drive. All numbers are illustrated in the screenshot below.

  5. Next, the program will ask if it is right to start recording. By the way, it is important, all data on the flash drive will be deleted!
  6. Then the program opens again - the answer is affirmative.

    Warning 2 - click "Yes."

  7. Further, if everything went well, at the bottom of the window you will see a "green strip" - the program began to work. The recording time depends on the flash drive selected images, the speed of your USB port, from the PC load, etc. on average, 5-20 minutes. For recording multiple OS. At this time, it is better not to touch the computer and not run resource-intensive tasks on it: games, video editors / graphics, etc.

  8. When the flash drive is recorded, you will see the inscription "Job Done". In principle, the USB flash drive can already be used, on it now 2 Windows XP and 10! Screen below.
  9. To add another OS, for example, Windows 7 - simply insert the USB flash drive again into the USB port, run WinsetupFromusB (from the administrator). Then: 1) Select the desired flash drive (approx.: For which we have recorded 2 OS) ; 2) Specify the ISO image from the Windows added; 3) Click the "Go" button. Note: Please note that put the box opposite the "Auto Format IT WITH FBINST" item, as we did before, do not need it!

  10. When another OS is added, you will see the usual window - the work is performed. Now on the flash drive 3 OS: Windows XP (32 Bit), 7 and 10 (64 BIT).
  11. If you want to add another OC, such as Windows 8, you need to do a step 9 again (see above). In principle, you can add enough OS enough on your flash drive (so let's say, provide all options) ...

Checking multi-load flash drive

To check the created USB flash drive, you need to do the following:

  1. Go to the BIOS and queue the USB flash drive queue (you can use Boot Menu). For more information about which buttons for the progress in the BIOS and Call Boot Menu are described here:
  2. Insert a USB flash drive into a USB port and restart the computer;
  3. A window should appear as on the screenshot below: for example, I chose windows string NT 6 (this is to select the installation of Windows 7, 8, 10).

After that, if you have 2 or more "new" OS, you will see a list with all of them. Choose the desired option and continue the installation. Screen is shown below, the USB flash drive!

At this major note, I complete an article, for additions, as always - I will be grateful.

Good day.

On new computers and laptops, many users are faced with the inability to download from the installation flash drive from Windows 7, 8. The reason for this is simple - the appearance of UEFI.

UEFI is a new interface designed to replace an outdated BIOS (and between the case to protect the OS from malicious boot viruses). To boot from the "old installation" flash drive - you need to go to the BIOS: then switch the UEFI to Legacy and turn off the Security Boot mode. In the same article, I want to consider creating a "new" boot UEFI flash drive ...

Step-by-step creation of boot UEFI flash drives

What do you need:

  1. directly the flash drive itself (at least 4 GB);
  2. iSO installation image with Windows 7 or 8 (image is needed original and 64 Bits);
  3. free Utility RUFUS (Official site: http://rufus.akeo.ie/ If that, then RUFUS is one of the most simple, convenient and fast programs To create any boot flash drives);
  4. if the utility rufus does not suit something, I recommend WinsetUpfromusB (Official site: http://www.winsetupfromusb.com/downloads/)

Consider the creation of UEFI flash drives in both programs.

Rufus.

1) After you download RUFUS - just run it (no installation is required). Important moment: run RUFUS you need under the administrator. To do this, in the Explorer, simply right-click on the executable file and select this option in the context menu.

  1. device: specify a flash drive you want to make boot;
  2. scheme section and type of system interface: Here you need to choose "GPT for computers with UEFI interface";
  3. file system: Select FAT32 (NTFS is not supported!);
  4. next, select the ISO image that you want to write on the USB flash drive (I remind you if that Windows 7/8 is 64 Bits);
  5. tick \u200b\u200bthe ticks three points: fast formattingCreation boot disk, Creating an extended tag and icon.

After the settings produced, click the "Start" button and wait until all files are copied to the USB flash drive (on average, the operation lasts 5-10 minutes).

Important! All files on the flash drive with such an operation will be deleted! Do not forget to keep all important documents from it in advance.

Fig. 2. Setting up RUFUS.

WinsetupFromusb.

1) First run the utility WinsetupFromusb.from administrator rights.

2) Then set the following settings (see Fig. 3):

  1. select a USB flash drive to record the ISO image;
  2. check the "Auto Format IT WITH FBINST" checkbox, then set a few more checks with the following settings: FAT32, Align, Copy BPB;
  3. Windows Vista, 7, 8 ...: Specify the installation image of ISO with Windows (on 64 BITS);
  4. and last - press the GO button.

Then the program will warn you that all data on the flash drive will be deleted And asked you to once again agree.

Fig. 4. Continue removing ..?

After a few minutes (if there are no problems with a flash drive or iSO) - You will see a window with a message about the completion of the work (see Fig. 5).

Fig. 5. Flash drive is written / work performed

By the way, WinsetupFromusb.sometimes "strange" behaves: it seems that it hovered, because There are no changes in the lower part of the window (where the informing strip is located). In fact, it works - do not close it! On average, the time of creating a loading flash drive is 5-10 minutes. Better at all while working WinsetupFromusb. Do not run other programs, especially different kind of game, video editors, etc.

On this, actually, everything is ready and you can proceed to a further operation: Windows installation (with UEFI support), but this topic ...
