Script which-Forum.pl. Examines the HTML page code for the presence of a forum engine signature in it. We used similar reception when determining WordPress and Joomla, but there is a couple of differences. First, the script itself does not upload the page code, and reads it from STDin or a file transmitted as an argument. This allows you to upload a page once, for example, using WGET, and then drive it through several analyzers if we are not alone. Secondly, in this script, the presence of signature is a 100% sign of the engine. Last time the presence of signature only gave the weight to the corresponding engine and "won" the engine with the greatest weight. I decided that in this case this approach only will complicate the code.

To test the work of the script, I spent a slight study. I am a list of several thousand forums and drove each of them through my script, thereby determining the percentage of the program's triggings and the popularity of various engines.

Scripts for search / definition of forums can also be found not one practical use. There we have not yet made the Russian Forum, in terms of translation from the English interface. At the moment it looks not very presentable, but after Russification (if it has not yet been produced) and the creation of the relevant sections, its view will significantly improve.

Today we will consider the topic of registration and make it Russian, as well as put the Jfusion component, which can work with both engines (and Juma, and CMF), which will allow you to have a common database of users for two and only one form of their registration and entry.

Themes and installation of the Russian Language Package

The Simple Machines Forum engine supports the possibility of changing topics, and they can be changed, both for the entire forum the whole and for individual sections in particular. Personally, I used the default design theme, but at the same time it made quite a few changes to it manually. In particular, I changed the background, the color solutions of some elements, added o'clock on the flash, radio and much more, what I will tell in the subsequent posts of this category.

The second way is more complicated, but it will allow us to see the settings of the installed mods in the administrator, and not only when activated of English language. I stay in this way at this moment, because the question is that someone installed the mod and cannot find its settings in the administrator of his conference, is very common.

So, the second way is to add a translation lines to Russification files for just added mods. How to determine which Russification files need to make changes and where to take them, I will tell later. In the meantime, temporarily, you can use the first way.

Jfusion Installation for Site Integration and Forum

First you need to download JFusion and its Russification.
